Moments of Reflection

Mikey currently has an Elizabethan collar. He tried to gnaw on his suture last night and I fell asleep slapping and blocking him. He found it sothing when I started to fan his injury but it didn’t do much good. I’ll try to upload a pics of him these past tw days but my internet has been wonky and I can’t guarantee anything. That being said, my internet is linked to my cable and I haven’t been able to watch any of my shows for the past two weeks and can’t meta them. I am sad.

Mikey is at the Pet Hospital having his lump drained out.  The vet said it was probably from a bite, after taking the fluid from the lump which was blood.  YEE freaked me out a bit.  Afterwards when they wanted to take him to the back he started shaking and kept going behind the back of my legs.  I’ll pick him up in a few hours.  I keep you guys posted.

Last night I noticed a lump on Mikey left thigh.  Not thinking I went to pat the lump, Mikey then tried to bite me and starting whimpering.  I got all worried and called all the roommates to where Mikey was to observe and discuss what this lump was.  Cali told me to call the all night pet hospital down at Fountain Valley, I got connected to a vet who asked a ton of questions.  Including, is it like a mass?  - Maybe.  Could it be a tumor?  - Heck no.  When he asked how Mikey was doing, like if his immobilized, Mikey then jumped off the bed and started running around the house.  I told him this and he said, “It’s probably something minor.  You can wait until the morning to bring him in to your regular vet.”  Then he hung up….kinda rude assessment, what with me all worried.  But the roommates and I gathered around again and Ben stepped up to take Mikey this morning to the vet since he’s off work today and tomorrow.  Nothing eventful happened until we all (Mikey) went to bed.  Mikey started crying, whimpering and sharp howling beginning at around 1:30 and continued on until 5 am.  I did not get any sleep and am drinking Starbucks Mocha Frap.

Which brings me to a side note.  I have gotten stuck on the Mocha Frap rut again.  I thought I was over it until I had one last week when I didn’t get enough sleep due to the late raiding my alt guild ran.  Now I drink one grande frap per weekday.  That’s still roughly $80 per month.  Bad, bad, bad.

So last night I went on two raids with Kage’s current guild - Bad Karma. Kage is one of my warrior alts and she isn’t geared that well. She’s also the only one remaining in Gurubashi, from my original line up. Plus, she’s a warrior….I noticed that I’m not really good as a warrior, compared to my priest or druid.
